He maybe at the point where he can no longer speak - he was only 29 when first diagnosed - bad luck

It may be the case. I mean Annette Funicello's husband tried to keep his wife's severe deterioration hidden from the public once her Multiple Sclerosis was advanced beyond a certain point. The press only got a picture of her a few years before she died because of a house fire where she was brought out in her wheelchair looking almost lifeless.

She had M.S., Michael J Fox has Parkinsons. Her's affliction is worse and completely different.

You would be surprised how eerily similar in terms of debilitation these diseases can be in the latest stages. They both leave the person basically locked in their own body, unable to move, talk or swallow and they are both vulnerable to Pneumonia. Parkinson's Disease is arguably in the same league of severity.

Update. Poor Michael appears to have gotten worse, now unable to walk without a cane and held up by his wife in the last photograph and story. So sad, he may not have much longer.

The last time I saw him he was on Designated Survivor for about 6 episodes this past spring. He was walking with a cane.
