Does he ever smile?

I saw him smile for a nano second in Bridget jones. Such a nice smile.

In Valmont he smiled ear to ear.
It was the first movie I saw him in, he was very handsome. Talking about very very handsome.
But he looked best in A Thousand Acres.
Not the best picture but I liked the scenes where he wore the gray top: http://content6.flixster.com/photo/34/25/75/3425756_gal.jpg

I didn't realize he was in A Thousand Acres. I don't think I ever saw the movie--I honestly can't remember. When I was fifteen I read the book and remember being shocked at the heaviness of the story. It opened my eyes to a dark and twisted world that book entails.

Now I'm going to have to check this movie out...

He has a very expressive mouth. Maybe he doesn't smile all that often in movies, but he certainly does in real life; he actually has the most infectious smile I've ever seen on an actor.

Completely agree. He smiles from within, letting off this infectious warmth. He's just someone you really want to know and to be around. It doesn't hurt that he's extremely attractive, but it's more than that. I get the same feeling when watching celebrity chef (minus the attraction) Rick Bayless. These are good people down to their core who just happen to entertain us.

I disagree, his smile is not nice and looks better when he doesn't show his teeth.
