His Accent?

Being American, I was wondering if anyone British could tell me just what specific type of accent Ralph has. With my limited familiarity with the various British accents, I think his sounds somewhat Irish; I am aware that he grew up partly in Ireland. Can anyone from the UK give me any further insights?

Aristocratic English.
I met him post theatre a few years ago. He's shy, soft spoken, represses a mischievous Machiavellian streak, & has a very refined English accent.
True thespian.
Incredibly handsome too.
