Wizard World’s first event for 2017, Wizard World New Orleans, is shaping up to be a sizable venue of pop culture celebrities and comic creators, with X-Files actor David Duchovny and Tom Wilson of Back to the Future being the most recently announced.

With Duchovny and Wilson’s additions, Wizard World has confirmed that there will be two new interactive Q&A experiences: with Duchovny and Mitch Pileggi of X-Files, and with Wilson and Christopher Lloyd of Back to the Future.

David-Duchovny-333.pngNEW ORLEANS, November 29, 2016 – David Duchovny, best known for portraying such iconic characters as “Fox Mulder” on “The X-Files” and “Hank Moody” on “Californication,” returns to the largest pop culture and comic con tour when he attends Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The two-time Golden Globe winner is currently starring in the NBC TV series “Aquarius” and in the reboot of “The X-Files” on Fox.

Duchovny recently released his second novel, Bucky *beep* Dent: A Novel, following the success of his debut Holy Cow, which landed on The New York Times’ Bestseller List.

He will join fellow “The X-Files” star Mitch Pileggi (“Assistant Director Walter Skinner”) at the event; they will conduct a dual interactive Q&A as well as pose for solo and dual photo ops.
