With Aquarius Over, It's Time For The X-Files To Return Full Time!

Now's the perfect time to fully renew 'The X-Files' since he doesn't have anything else on the agenda, at least not full time. I sincerely hope that he'll return to his greatest show ever as Fox Mulder. The new season was brilliant and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for several more seasons!!!

Post here if you support that! :D

OH YEAH, certainly hope so all I know is yes Chris Carter & his Ten-Thirteen productions are involved in creating and writing out the story-arc for season 11 but no idea of how many episodes.

Location filming and availability for stars David & Gillian is an issue to be resolved other than normal contract negotiations of price-tag fee'.

Canada is still a favourite location for Chris Carter again for its tax benefits and local atmosphere, FOX is on board and want to do more X FILES for sure seems much rests on how many shows to be done and when and where shall be filmed for and with both stars.

Optimsticaly I would say by next sumer 2017 to fall and premiere possibly by late January 2018 just as season 10 did early this year.

Twitter David & Gillian & Chris Carter are they IN or OUT for another season being one last more or not? IT IS UP to these individuals and whether their deals are sweetened by the pot enough or not or depending on scripts they just cant bring themselves' creatively to their characters and material or not?

I think they can and are willing to, there's joy & fun despite the long ardous hours involved in working on such a series as this. If there was little to no chance at all Carter wouldn't be writing and creating the story-arc for season 11 nor would they be already into pre-liminary production scouting locations.

He writes books, has a band, and has a family. GA also writes books, has a family, and has acting gigs from here to eternity to boot! If we build it, they might come. Fan support means a lot a lot a lot.
But saying DD has nothing going on full time is just plain untrue and isn't terribly supportive.

That's an oddly cynical statement because clearly the context of my post states that I am supportive of him. All I meant by him not having anything going on full time was in reference to any current TV series/films. Prior to this, his main obligation, career-wise, was to Aquarius, now that the show's no more, that frees him from that to pursue other things, i.e. 'The X-Files'.

I could argue that it's oddly reductive to refer to his career only as acting, meanwhile notably omitting his other pursuits. He is a NYT bestselling author with two books under his belt and possibly more to come. As a musician, he has another album coming out, and he just announced a another tour.
You are supportive of his acting, cool. But what about his other pursuits? The same for GA. She writes books, too.

They're both mostly known for their acting, regardless of their other pursuits, so no, I'd that's an inaccurate conclusion on your part. If in doubt, simply look at their body of work, the majority of it consists of acting, not writing or singing in bands, those are secondary pursuits that they have the luxury of pursuing because of their primary career fields.

The fact remains that he's busy and that he's busy. You're gonna have to wait until later 2017 sometime--at least. We're alllll gonna have to wait.

The suspense is terrible. I hope it'll last.

Fully understood the OP are being reactionary and taking what you wrote out of context to the extreme.

DD may well have other personal project's in the work's and has completed a couple guest-shot TV appearance's notably episode#1 for season 1 of revival Twin Peaks again for 2017 but acting wise he doesn't since Aquarius was cancelled.

It is reassuring and nice to know though that he is at least trying to keep his schedule free to commit to Chris Carter's season 11 for possible lensing next summer as Chris is doing all the ground work, scripts, producing at the present to get this going again.

Meanwhile GA just seem's to be doing the exact opposite and appears to be over booking and over-extending her self far to in advance to far too many other film and TV project's to ever be available again which is a shame because if they all have the same goal to reunite and work together seem's the guy's are up for it but GA isn't?
