Michael's pick of his own worst film

Just come back from "An Evening with Michael Douglas" where Michael took the stage in London to discuss his films. He picked "SHINING THROUGH" as his least favourite of his filmography, he even struggled to recall the title of the film! He said this was his only period movie and it didn't work.

It was a fantastic evening a real privilege to see him in the flesh speaking so candidly about his motion picture career. Highly recommended.

I heard Michael was on stage in London but unfortunately, I couldn't be there.

I already knew he did not like "Shining Through". He said it several times in the past.

Did he say something else interesting ? Did he talk about upcoming movies ?

Thank you for posting !

As audience I don't agree with him, it was an OK film not a masterpiece but OK. In my opinion his worst film was "A Chorus Line", that was awful IMO. But to find a bad film starring Michael Douglas is really rare.

His best films in my opinion are "Basic Instinct", "Traffic" and "Behind the Candelabra".

not true. He also did The Ghost and the Darkness

SHINING THROUGH is great!

As a Beverly Hills brat, he's probably just pissed he's only in the beginning and end of the film.
