I read that cameron was one of many actresses considered to play mary jane in the first spiderman film when it was in pre production in the late 90s. I dont care about camerons age,but im sure they are gonna want a 20 year old to play her. Mj was suppose to be in the sequel,but they cut her from the film. I think gwen will be the main female well for st least 5 more films

As would the sane people in movie fandom. She'd be 46 or 47 by the time shooting wrapped. Hard to suspend one's disbelief to the point of believing she's a high school girl. She'd be better cast as Aunt May at this point...
