Why does he never talk about Total Eclipse?

It's like he doesn't want to be associated with playing a 'gay' role. But the thing is, this wasn't just any 'gay' role, it was the great Arthur Rimbaud, the decadent poet. Surely he would be proud of that film, no? Why does he never talk about it? I've never seen an interview where he talks about it. Makes me think interviewers have been banned from asking him about it.

It's a shame because I really liked him as Rimbaud, and thought Thewlis and him had great chemistry as Rimbaud and Verlaine. After seeing the film I remember buying Arthur Rimbaud's biography, he was a very interesting character.
