Martin Scorsese confirms The Devil in the White City to be made with Leo

According to him they wanted them to start shooting the movie in January No, actually he said:
"Right now, there is a script being worked on. One of the things that I had to stop for the past six months [to complete 'Silence'] was my meetings on that script. They want me to start again in January and see if we can find a way because it’s an extraordinary story."
Marty is making "The Irishman" next year and only then TDITWC.

It's going to be a complex story to bring to the screen. I loved the book, especially the building of the White City, although the Holmes subplot was unbelievably creepy. I'm wondering if Leo will play Holmes or the man who tracks him down.

Well in the independent website it says "DiCaprio will play a charismatic doctor turned serial killer who murdered as many as 200 people"


I don't know if it's already been confirmed by Marty or not.

I know when they acquired the rights years ago, they announced DiCaprio as Holmes, but I not so sure now. Neither Leo or Marty have confirmed what role he will play.

Yes, lets wait and see. But I'm glad he is having a role in a new Scorsese movie.
