Johnny Depp as the Joker...

https://read.ilovehalloween.net/johnny-depp-might-play-the-role-of-joker-in-batman-beyond

I would LOVE this! I have always felt he would be an amazing Joker as long as he stays away from making him the same as Jack Sparrow... He tends to play that same kind of character in all of Tim Burton's films.

Please keep these types of thoughts to yourself. Thank you

reply

Lmao! Pathetic.

reply

This could be an interesting casting
Depp is top shelf

I doubt it will happen though

reply

DEPP IS TOP SHELF WHEN PAIRED WITH A DIRECTOR/SCRIPT THAT CAN KEEP HIM FROM DEPPING SHIT UP.

reply

Depp showed up with a Keith Richards routine for those 'Pirates' movies and totally nailed it...Don't sleep on Depp bro

reply

DEPP SHOWED UP TO THE FIRST THREE PIRATES FILMS AND GORE VERBINSKI IN THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR...VERBINSKI LEFT AFTER 3 AND ROB "FAST AND FURIOUS" MARSHALL CAME IN...FUNNY HOW SHIT GOT MISGUIDED AND MEDIOCRE AFTER THAT.🤔

reply

The first couple were pretty good silly fun, I can't recall seeing the later ones tbh

reply

THE FIRST THREE PIRATE FILMS ARE TO THE MATRIX WHAT EVERY OTHER PIRATE FILM IS TO THE MATRIX 2 AND 3.

reply

Stop making my head spin dude! lol

I gave up on The Matrix after the first one, I've heard they got pretty dumb afterward

reply

I dunno, there so many remakes of remakes and reboots of reboots, etc. I'd like to see it though :)

reply

It's a bad idea. Just face it fool.

reply

Stalking me now? Go bother someone else silly boy.

reply

How is Johnny Depp a good idea for the Joker? Makes no sense. I didn't even want to entertain this idea because I think it's so silly, but do you care to elaborate on why you think this is such an amazing casting choice?

reply

He's enigmatic, versatile and runs with his roles. I can easily see him playing the Joker type from the old TV show or like Jack Nicholson played in "Batman" with Michael Keaton.

As I said before though, not if he played it the same way he plays Jack Sparrow like he did in Alice in Wonderland.

Anyway, that is just my humble opinion.

reply

well your opinion is wrong

reply

That's your opinion and be thankful you have one. But I do believe you only asked just to troll, lmao. What a surprise.

reply

No, I didn't ask just to troll. I legitimately wanted to come to some understanding as to why you'd think up something as ludicrous as this. Unfortunately and to no surprise it was just some uneducated musings on your part.

reply

LOL! As I said before, you are so pathetic.

Your comments are funny considering they're coming from the person who posted "This movie was autistic" on another movie forum. You followed me from my reply to your idiocy.

You are obviously a troll, a creep and as stupid as a backwoods hillbilly. Go find someone else to bother and again, keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

Be gone, I am done replying to your stupidity now and I have no doubt you will just keep replying with even more stupid comments.

reply

Meh that would be a very uninspired casting choice to be honest.

reply

THANK YOU!

reply

20 years ago, it might have been an inspired casting choice.

But now? Hoo boy...

reply

People said the same thing about Jack Nicholson when he was cast :)

reply

I would just be worried it would be like a cross between Sweeny Todd and the Mad Hatter.

reply

Yeah, that's what I would be worried about too. I definitely think he has it in him to play a unique part. He's does it before.

reply

If this were 10 years ago I would agree with you completely. While he was still doing "Johnny Depp in make up" weird roles, I think he still cared. Now I don't think he does. It's a shame because he used to be amazing, and the Joker could have been a great role for him.

reply

Yeah, I can see your point. I've been fan of his since Nightmare on Elm Street. Well, let's just hope we see more of him being amazing :)

reply

Robert Downey Jr. would be better.

reply

Really? Hmmm, I don't see that but then again, he pulled off Sherlock Holmes very well :)

reply

Think of him in Tropic Thunder. That or Less Than Zero. In fact, just use some clips of those two movies with a heavy metal soundtrack, and the project is already done.

reply

I need to watch both of those again. He killed it in Tropic Thunder! Heh, I love your idea though! :)

reply

Yeah, because the Joker really needs another film appearance. It's not as if Batman has plenty of other rogues, some that need their time to shine on the big screen.
