"I won't punch President Trump".

Who the hell does this has-been scumbag think he is?

Hollywood and liberals are very disrespectful to anyone who doesn't agree with them. That's a real turn-off, even though, I've never been a fan of Deniro. He was smirking on Jimmy Kimmel live, about President Trump and thinking about moving to Italy. I realize he was half-joking but this is uncalled for. No old school respect anymore. Sad!

A lot of people are "disrespectful" to people who don't agree with them. It even went on back in the old school days.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, De Niro was an outspoken critic of candidate Donald Trump, calling him "so blatantly stupid" and stating "I'd like to punch him in the face".

A town in southern Italy, where Robert De Niro's great-grandparents came from, has offered the US film star asylum after he made this tongue-in-cheek remark that he'd return there if Donald Trump was elected president.

"If after the disappointment of Trump, he wants to take refuge here, we are ready to welcome him," said Antonio Cerio, the mayor of Ferrazzano, the little town from where his great-grandparents emigrated in 1890.

I think Clinton will be on the same page in the future. 😝

The amount of disrespect magnified in the last 8 years.

Within the last 8 years anyone that did not agree with the liberal/left/democrat mindset was viciously attacked verbally and physically. Now after the election and the attacks turned more physical. A girl was attacked at school for supporting Trump. A guy was pulled from his car and beaten and punched for supporting Trump. A little boy was shoved out of his house with suitcase and shaming sign, by his mother, for supporting Trump. Celebrities want to invoke violence on voters. CEOs want to force people to resign, another CEO wants to assassinate Trump. The level of hatred escalated through the roof over the last 8 years because people were forced to adhere to PC or else. You have idiots needing safe spaces, wanting test exemption, needing therapy, crying, you have the BS microaggressions, you have people changing gender labels and demanding to use these pronouns or else. You cannot say a damn thing about anyone or else they are instantly offended, OR you are labeled with some sort of negative -ism. The list is freaking endless of what this country has had to deal with in the last 8 years. I have not even talked about SJW or BLM BS either.

NO ONE, not one single person rioted or protested in '08 or '12. We sucked it up. We moved on and waited till election time to change things. Supporters of Trump were forced to be silent during the election or face serious repercussions. How is that fair.

I think there were some demonstrators for Obama.

Trump isn't getting protested simply because people aren't happy their presidential choice didn't win. If any other Republican had been the nominee and won, the chances are very slim the protests would even be newsworthy if there were any. The protestors are pretty much wasting their time, but Trump brought all of that onto himself. He played with fire to get nominated and now he has to quell certain things.

Plenty of Trump supporters have voiced their feelings, and if a certain group of his followers are too cowardly to speak up for their beliefs then that's on them.

I think in some cases there is PC being forced down people's throats, but in other cases there are just people who are resentful or afraid that things are changing and they are longing for a zeitgeist that has faded or is fading.

Agree. He should go back to Italy asap.

There was absolutely nothing like this towards Obama. Why because we all had to work and pay for these people.

No, half the country brought it on themselves. The half that lost and wants to pretend the other half does not even exist. Trump gave a voice to the people that have been boiling in silence. We couldn't say anything for the last 8 years.

Trump supporters are NOTHING compared to this, what we see now.

The people in fear can thank the media for forcing that into their minds.
