If Russell really used racial slurs, he just lost a fan...
I have been a die-hard fan of Russell Crowe's since Gladiator. However, I have always been a bit suspicious of his racial sentiments and run-ins he has had with other actors.
This Azalea confrontation takes the cake. It's one thing to put your hands on her. It's another to haul her off. It's another to use racial slurs.
Sadly, even as a die hard fan, I can see Russell's temper getting the better of him. He doesn't have the best reputation and it's probably worst than reported since friendly press has a way of cleaning up incidents.
This is a sad moment for me because I'm filing Russell in that category of actors I have on 'the bad list'. It means, I won't be seeing any of his movies, purchasing anything attached to his name and whenever he comes on tv, I simply change the channel.
What a disappointment Russell, did you have to be abusive to a female AND use racial slurs? : (
