Was rumoured to appear in the Expendables back in 2012

Back in 2012, Sylvester Stallone and the director of “The Expendables 2” wanted Sean Connery to appear in a future film alongside the likes of Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren, when this was brought up, his rep(s) shot down the claim by a reporter saying that he was retired.
