Really like his stuff

Halloween, Assault on Precinct 13, They Live, and Big Trouble in Little China are my favorites by him. He's the go to guy for cheap thrills imo.

Hi there, I'm a massive fan of Assault on Precinct 13. I think that's his masterpiece.

MY favorite was "The Fog"
One of the things I loved was his distinctive soundtracks. A simple yet driving force to his movies.
I couldnt stand what they did to the remake of The Fog.
When you look at the original, you understand the brilliance of how it was written.

I also loved Christine, although it was really Steven King's plot. Carpenter was the perfect choice to bring it to the screen. Of course it contained the same Brilliant Carpenter soundtrack that helped make the movie special.
