Whatever happened to her career

She did a good job in the scream films. To me she generally had solid talent back in the 1990s. What made her disappear?

reply

Made tons of $$$ from Scream films then moved on to smaller projects that probably interested her more.

reply

She wasn't interested in being a super star.

The other problem is when you are know for a type of character that is all people want from you proper actors don't want to keep playing that same role.

reply

She produced "The Company" about the ballet world she originally came from and lured the legendary Robert Altman to direct it. Then in 2006 she appeared in Altman's final creative project before his death--the play of Arthur Miller's "Resurrection Blues" in London. Anybody who wanted to work with Altman I regard with a great amount of esteem. I could care less what some nobody thinks about Neve just because she isn't churning out new Scream movies every two years.

reply

According to actor Mark Patton, Robert Altman was a con man.

reply

I would like you to cite where you've heard that. I am very familiar with Mark's role in Come Back to the Five & Dime.

There’s obviously an echo in here.
