Happy 66th to James Cameron, director of the worst film ever made.

In his favor he did Terminator 2, but still!

I know already it's pointless, but Titanic is an amazing piece of cinema and there's more, so much more to this movie than just "hurr but da corny luv story durr!".
The attention to detail (for what they knew in 1995 about the sinking) is rather amazing, the acting on almost every part is top notch, there are SO many historical bits and pieces only people will see who know the history of the ship and its sinking, the sets alone were ground breaking and there are plenty of other areas where the movie shows it deserved the many oscars it received.

But don't let that stop you from your "edgy" opinion.
