2016?

I am a big fan of Nicolas Cage (yeah, fan of Cage actually exists), I'm not blind however, his best work is not recent (Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona, Face/Off, Adaptation, Bad Lieutenant, etc.), and he's been choosing his films poorly in the last 5 years.

However, I think 2016 could be another year like 2013 where we get to see good work from Nicolas Cage. I just saw The Trust (2016) with Elijah Wood, it was not amazing but it was entertaining and Nicolas Cage's performance was very funny in my opinion.

He's also scheduled to appear in Army Of One, directed by Larry Charles (Borat) and Snowden, directed by Oliver Stone.

He's got another Paul Schrader movie (Dog Eat Dog) scheduled for 2016, I know Dying of The Light (2014) was not good, but it was not really Schrader's movie.

I'm not talking about a comeback but it's great to see Nicolas Cage potentially being in decent films, playing decent roles. 2014 and 2015 was not really good for him, let's hope it gets better this year!
