why doesnt he get offered any good movies and roles anymore?

I just saw The Trust and it was clear to see that Cage is still a terrific actor and has a great screen presence. Even in his little cameo in Snowden his talent was there to see. I dont get how any big directors dont go for him. Sure he has done absolutely *beep* movies in the last decade but its shame that an actor of his calibre is being wasted like this. He has still got it in spades and I wish a big director gives him a major role in one of their movies.
