Pierce Brosnan I never thought of has a good actor, but he is entertaining to watch, he is more up there with Burt Reynolds, just good at being an on screen presence.

I think he did a very good job in The ghost writer, The Tailor of Panama, the November man and Remember me.

But Pierce is more of a movie star actor who we love beacuse of his charisma, sex appeal and screen prescence and that's ok, not everyone has to be a thespian or a great Method actor like Daniel Day Lewis

He was really good in The Matador, never mind the narrator in this scene

His finest piece of acting in a film ever

Have you seen Mr. Brosnan's performances in The Matador and The Ghost Writer? He deserved Academy Award nominations for both.

reply

He's a good actor, sometimes a little dull, but his subtlety and charisma makes him seem very cool and natural on screen.

reply

I think Pierce is rather overlooked. The guy's a trained professional, but he doesn't get the right scripts and the right directors suited to his talents.
