Danielle de Barbarac in "Ever After."

My mom loves her in that.

Oh she's a treasure. I've particularly enjoyed her in:

Irreconcilable Differences (1984)
Firestarter (1984)
Poison Ivy (1992)
Boys on the Side (1995)
Everyone Says I Love You (1996)
Charlie's Angels (2000)
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002)
Whip It (2009) - not a bad little Director too

Funny that none of those movies would trouble my favourites list. Drew was the best thing about all of them.

Loved her in Donnie Darko a lot (I felt it was a very different kind of character for her, too - so double-props there) but my favourite is probably her work in Santa Clarita Diet. What a terrific show Netflix dustbinned.

I agree, Drew and Tim Olyphant were a comedy match made in heaven, the equal of the best screwball comedy duos.

The show was running out of steam though, to be honest.

I was worried with the direction they seemed to be taking it. I didn't like the where it was going.

But I was hooked on the show basically up until that last scene. If they found a way to walk that back, I'd have certainly hung in there.

"Sheila and Jo-el!"
"It's pronounced Joel, actually."
"STOP LYING TO ME!"

Gold.

reply

Yea I agree. The bout being so unlike her appealed to her immensely.
