Bean should play all those dumbass Senators. They knew very well Hayward seeked council from lawyers before going to the hearing. He was not going to answer their stupid questions. That was not a hearing, it was a witch hunt. What he said was better than taking the 5th like the baseball players did during their Senate hearings. The Senators do not deserve the dignity of their office.

It was a complete waste of time, but it told the American public what they already guessed at, which is Tony Hayward was a patsy, who knew much more than he let on, but knew how to play the game so well it wasn't going to bear any fruit in a hearing.

Ultimately, a waste of time. BP better get more than a stern talkin' to.
