Apparently not nice to work with...

If you're a guest star on her show I guess. Apparently she was cold and wouldn't talk to any of the guest stars on X files

Its quiet... I feel a carly coming on... (knock knock) JASON!!! UHHH

What are we talking about here?

There seems to have been ONE COMMENT by an actress in 2008 about an event in April 1999 when they worked together on an X-File episode. We do not know the circumstances about this event, not even whether it was reported accurately.

Now GA has appeared in many (hundreds?) of TV episodes, stage plays and films since making Trevor with very many other actors/actresses. Has the comment that "Gillian Anderson is difficult to work with" appeared again?

I don't recall such.

So what are we to believe - a single comment by one actress, or the complete absence of any corroborating evidence.

I finished the memoir of William Davis who said GA was aloof (or shy perhaps) but that in the whole nine years he worked with her she never asked him once how he was doing.

He also said she turned into a great actress but that her people skills did not improve. So there ya go.

You forgot to add the part were he writes that Andeson must have something done (but proved no further proof or reasoning why he thinks that. Just because she must have right, there can't be nother reasons). How many scenes did WBD and GA share in the nine years again? One episode and aboout a handful scenes in the pilot, in the Bermuda traingle episode and in the finale?
And don't forget that Davis wrote a script in the seventh season becauase he wanted to work especially with GA, seems odd, don't you think?

Also, I have read his memoir recently, too. Duchovny get's similar remarks (being late to set, aloof). Also Davis come of as a know-it-all, snobish (only his way to do things is the right way and talks smack about other people as well) and generally not a person you want to hang around with. Kind of unworthy of an actor that worked with Laurence Olivier. Maybe he needed the quick money because he has to pay so much alimonies so he decided to add some "spice" to his memoir and what a big surprise this happen to be the two most famous people he knows that are still alive.

You should go hang out with William B Davis and see if you want to ask him how he's doing or if he just kind of gives you the creeps.
