Timothee Chalamet is Such a Bitch

Him and the other people that recently disavowed Allen

I don't know what Allen did or didn't do, but I do know that the allegations against him have been public knowledge for over 2 decades

Chalamet knew about them before he signed on. He signed on to the film for the same reason that everyone signs on to work with Allen, because Allen is a legend and they think it will be good for their careers

But now that the metoo thing started it's become BAD for their careers

These people don't have any real principles. They go wherever the wind is blowing. This kid is so desperate for an Oscar. I don't care if he gets one, but I hope he doesn't beat Adrien Brody's record of youngest actor to win one. I can't stand blatant social climbers

Here are the findings of the Yale New Haven Hospital on Child Sexual Abuse. They found no proof he did molest Dylan and ample proof Mia Farrow coached and prodded and promised "prizes" to Dylan should she "perform" well.

In their findings they exonerated Allen. Nothing further to see here.

Yeah, normally I actually do tend to believe victims, but Allen's case is way too suspect

Like Allen said himself, there have been no other allegations of pedophilia made against him. So why would he choose THAT moment, in the middle of a bitter divorce, to do something like that for the first time?

And then you look at Mia Farrow. Obviously she's bitter that Allen left her for her adoptive daughter. But the fact is that him and Soo-Yin are not biologically related and she was not a minor. So as weird as it may be, he didn't really do anything wrong

But in Farrow's mind it would be close to pedophilia, since he knew Soo-Yin since she was little. But the doesn't see it that way. So she orchestrates a way to frame him for pedophilia so that the rest of the world can see him how she sees him

I don't know if this is or isn't what happened, but it makes sense to me

I do think Allen has a thing for younger women. But there is a big difference between 17-21 year olds and freaking toddlers

Every man has a thing for younger women (and by that I mean early 20s).

Yes, that's true. If I was rich and famous and known for my ability to write romantic stories I'd probably be plowing through as many 20 year old models as I could

reply

He just want it all. Having worked with Allen is a badge for any actor, he's one of the best directors alive. Once the movie is finished, he disavows Allen and gets virtue signalling points. And probably he'll get away with it.

We live in a time for hypocrites.

reply

I'm sure he will. His career only seems to be speeding up. Being a hypocrite pays off in an industry full of sycophants like Hollywood

I think Chalamet has talent, but he's also a pretentious little twerp. Hope the world can humble him at some point

reply

He threw Woody under the bus. As did Greta Gerwig and many others. It's a really weak and lame thing to do, and they should be held accountable for it. Didn't they stop to think that he might be innocent?

reply

It bugs me most with the newer actors on the latest films, like, yes, Chalamet.

Like, when Mira Sorvino came out a little while ago and said, "I probably wouldn't work with him again," I feel a little differently. Or Michael Caine. Because when they worked with Allen, this stuff was thought of in a different way. So, I'll buy that in the last few years they've had time to think it over and change their minds.

But when Allen starts making a picture after the #metoo movement, a bunch of young actors sign on, the movie gets released, controversy arises, and then they all go, "Oh, uh...yeah...I'm against Allen!" it is so nakedly hypocritical.

All this besides the facts that don't really prove Allen did anything illegal. He could easily be innocent, but they're going for total condemnation without decent proof.

reply

Funny enough that Chalamet would agree to do a movie where an older man falls for an underage boy.

reply

Pretty sure that Chalamet would get down on his knees for Harvey Weinstein if he was promised an Oscar for it

reply

And the saddest part is, Timothee's Woody Allen movie sucks.
