During the filming of Brainstorm, Christopher Walken had a key to Natalie's hotel suite. He went around bragging about it while showing the key to members of the cast and crew. Robert was bound to find out sooner or later.
shareShe's right. But Lana Wood needs attention and money, so this nonsense will go on as long as she and Wagner are alive.

Lana Woods does need money and attention, but the fact she does doesn't actually impeach her story.
Yes, actually it does. The "RJ killed my sister" industry is what has kept her in the tabloids and money for the past few decades, since her nothing career petered out. Without bringing this nonsense up over and over, she'd have been completely forgotten many years ago. This never-ending delusion, or lie, is the only thing she's got left.
shareThere's an old saying - "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you".
While you can reasonably say that Lana's need for money and attention shows reasonable doubt as to her motives (to which I agree), it doesn't mean that Robert Wagner or Christopher Walken had no part or at least didn't have some unspoken knowledge of exactly what transpired the night Natalie died.
Although the investigation didn't turn up anything concrete, the police certainly were suspicious of something not quite right that went on that night.
Lana has no hard evidence, and absent a deathbed confession by either Wagner or Walken, the story will remain untold - but the suspicions at least are not totally unfounded.
