Nooooooo.

She's featured on my IMDB list of favorite actresses of all time, she was the second oldest currently living out of the 40 on said list.

One of the most beautiful women of all time.

My five favorite Raquel Welch films;
One Million Years B.C. (1966)
Fantastic Voyage (1966)
Fathom (1967)
The Three Musketeers (1973)
The Four Musketeers (1974)

I've been meaning to check out Hannie Caulder (1971).

It's very sad.

I'm struggling to find the words...she was one of the all-time sex symbols...she was also a respectable actress, winning a Golden Globe in 1975 for The Three Musketeers. I was a preteen in the late 60s--early 70s. By the time I was a teen in the mid 1970s she was starting to be supplanted by others, but such was her looks and talent that she never faded away and was not just another forgotten sex symbol: she really did became a cultural icon. Her appearance on Seinfeld showed she could poke fun at herself--always an endearing quality.

reply

You're right, she was very special and enduring.

reply

"The whole sex-symbol thing is part of what I do as an actress. It's a kind of character I play. It's part of me, but not the whole me."

Gorgeous and talent woman.

Rest in peace Raquel

Very sad and genuinely shocking news… R.I.P. to a true icon.
