She was a Woman in the best sense

When I was in high school I saw this girl who was two years younger than me.

I didn't have a chance with any of my peers, or at least I thought so at the time. Most of the girls in the next year didn't seem interested, but when the Sophs showed up, they were intriguing.

I would see one gal in the hallway. She was tall and not blond but maybe Slavic (?) or Jewish or whatever, and I was fascinated with her.

She was Raquel Welch to me. Not with the sculpted face, and I didn't focus on boobs and butts back then, but she looked like a nice, cultivated, tall brunette Woman with a nice visage.
I knew I idealized her to the point of ridiculousness, so I quit, but for a while I thought she was the Raquel Welch of my world.

Wish I'd actually spoken to her once.
