DUKE: A LOVE STORY by Pat Stacy has a blurb from Rock Hudson saying "I worked with John Wayne." For the life of me I can't remember a movie with the Duke and the Rock in it. Any ideas?

It's hard to judge if he had any recent hits prior to Undefeated. I mean I like Ice Station Zebra, but he did a couple of interesting films after UD and then got McMillan and Wife which was a favorite for some people.

I don't know how big a hit it was, but the 1954 movie Magnificent Obsession is one of my favorite Rock Hudson movies.
