OT: End of an era--IMDB closing down discussion boards on Feb 20th

For those of you who missed the announcement these boards are getting shut down--not archieved--but NUKED and deleted. Talked with a buddy of mine who works behind the Scenes here in the UK and it sounds like the guys running the board had to fight to get those last 2 weeks--Amazon wanted to shut them down today

Too bad. This was a good place to keep up on favorite stars and talk with people who like the same movies.

I wonder if another site will take advantage. Its a great way to share info and the like. Just seems odd to do this. Screw Imdb.
