The Last Week Tonight host showed a clip last night of Stewart's Oscar-nominated performance in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington in a segment on filibuster reform. "He was a bad actor,” Oliver said before taking a swipe at Old Hollywood. “They were all pretty bad back then, but he was especially bad.”
Or in other words John Oliver desperate for attention attacks one of classic Hollywood's greatest.
