He actually came from an intergalactic race that communicated through their butthole. The Elvis we see in movies and singing is actually a lip syncer named Juan Ricardo who lip synced for the real Elvis aka Elvis's Butthole.

Yeah when Juan Ricardo died in 1977 the real Elvis aka Elvis's Butthole had to find something else to do since no one looked as good as Juan. He's rumored to be running a Chuck E Cheese in Peoria.
