Do You find it insulting that he wasn't included in AFI's Top 25 Hollywo

By the way that AFI's list sucks !!! I mean come on NO Paul Newman, Kirk Douglas in... Cooper #11 , Tracy #9 and Clark Gable #7 (which i respect and have a great opinion of him as an actor, but still doesn't have more than 3-5 movies to mention).

AFI u suck . :)

reply

of course he should be in the top 25. i would rank him in the top 10 even.

reply

don't forget Hollywood was Jealous of him & Joanne so him not making the top 25 AFI is wrong but understandable

"why are you married to him then if you can't work with him how do you live with him?"

reply

yeah, it sucks that the politics in hollywood have so much impact on actors getting awards and recognition.

reply

@Straighttoyourheart1 that's unfair but how it's always been and it can keep them from getting we deserved parts as well

"why are you married to him then if you can't work with him how do you live with him?"

reply

The AFI is clearly biased to 30s and 40s films and stars which is why Paul wasnt there since he was at his best during the 60s. *beep* them anyways, no one cares about such lists.

" I've come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubble gum "

reply

Yeap, that was my conclusion too ... "fu*ck AFI" i mean it just made it self look foolish with this idiotic list, even the ranking sucks... but no great Paul Newman included !!!>>>??? That's just unacceptable.

The Hustler, The Color of Money, Cool Hand Luck, Hud, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Slap Shot, The Verdict, Absence of Malice, Nobody's Fool, Road To Perdition, The Sting, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid", Buffalo Bill and The Indians, The Life and Time of Judge Roy Bean, Hombre, Harper, The Long Hot Summer and Sweet Bird of Youth... If This are Not Impressive than we're wrong.

reply

No because he is a legend. You don't get any better recognition than that.

reply

@LizCarlo87 I have to agree with you on that and sadly people are more likely to recognize him as such than they are his beloved Joanne who with fewer films is equally as legendary as him. but she's viewed more harshly by some because she scaled back her career for nobler causes of being a wife and mother which by all accounts she fufilled her duities as both with grace and love. which makes her supposed current battle so much harder to understand why it's happenning to her.if anyone deserves to live their last years as comfortably & quietly as possible it's her she's already withstood the worst loss any woman ever could the loss of her beloved husband but to have this happen on top of that is beyond unfair
