Monroe was 100x the actress and star that Grable was! I'm hardly a Monroe fan, but she had tons of charisma, she was a decent actress, and she could project real feeling into some of her scenes. There was nothing *real* about Grable, she had a very doll-like, artificial presence.
Grable didnt resent Monroe, when they worked together. She said she'd had her time as a bombshell, now it was someone else's turn.

For what's it;s woirth, Marilyn didmost of them mcun better..(Certainluy she OWNS GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES< such as BYE BYE BABY, no one else could do that..) then there's that grate scene..

But Grable did major inroad (box office,mt.c) Im 59, and have pcitures of both on my iphone (coy grin!) Ill leave it at that.
