I think that Beau learned his lesson about being abusive. I hope he did!
I watched this again last night. I do have to say that I wish Beau's old sidekick had gone on back to the ranch with them. He did have a way of taking the boy under his wing, but he figured that he would just be in the way.
At the end of the movie I did think about life on the ranch once they got back there.
Would the ranch hands treat Cherrie with any amount of respect?
Would the happy couple be able to make the obvious adjustments when two people start living together?
After a few years, would Cherrie become Rose (from Niagara) and plot with a young cowpoke to run away with him after they kill Beau????😄

I agree with your choices completely. They are also my favorites. The Misfits was especially ironic as Monroe and Gable died not to long after the movie was filmed.
