Happy 104th birthday!

Olivia de Havilland turns 104 today, 1 July 2020. I may be forgetting someone but since the passing of Kirk Douglas she is, I believe, the last true A-list superstar of Hollywood’s golden age (most other survivors - such as Angela Lansbury and Ann Blyth - were not stars of that magnitude, while others such as Poitier emerged much later), the last Oscar nominated actor of the 1930s and probably various other records! I hope she has a wonderful day.

What was her last public appearance?

The last I recall was a couple of years ago. I have heard no updates in her health lately.

I saw The Heiress (1949) at a theater within the last year. The daughter of the director, William Wyler, participated in a Q&A after the showing. She said that she still speaks with Olivia de Havilland (who won the Best Actress Oscar for that film.) Someone asked her how Olivia felt about the verbal abuse depicted in the film. She said that they don't talk about things like that.

Angela and Sidney are not too far behind. Harry Belafonte as well. In addition to Blyth. Getting off Hollywood, Prince Phillip will be 100 next year.
