Film offers

Apart from 'Mother' which Debbie Reynolds played, did Doris Day turn down any other film roles following the ending of 'The Doris Day Show' in 1973?. I recall reading all sorts of articles in the 80s and even the 90s that she was offered parts in many films and TV shows...most famously 'Dallas' (not as Miss Ellie!!) but as an adversary to 'JR'. Wonder if it was true?. 'The Colby's' might have done better (and lasted longer) had she played the Barbara Stanwyk role. What a pity that she 'retired' when she did.
