Susan Sarandon has a difficult task before her in "Feud"

Davis was so distinctive in her manner, voice and presence, that playing her for 8 episodes is a challenge. But if anyone can do it, Sarandon can. Crawford is easier to play. Lange will pull off Crawford's regal vulnerability. It's a trait she's portrayed on the first four seasons of "American Horror Story".

I'm glad they cast two great actresses to play the two great legends. Jessica Lange already proved she can play a star from the golden age of Hollywood when she starred in Frances.

According to Vanity Fair, the list of the characters in Feud includes Geraldine Page. I think's that's another actress Jessica Lange can also play very well.

___I saw the short snippet of these two dressed off set Baby Jane. I was quite taken back by Sarandon, she looked incredibly like Davis. Lange did not look like Crawford. Even though Lange has looked matronly for some years, she looked too young and too glamorous to be Crawford. But, again that was Crawford's whole MO.

She looks ridiculous in the photos I've seen - she's 70 playing a 54-year-old Bette Davis and apparently wants to play a 42-year-old Bette via the makeup and knockoff All About Eve gown. This movie will probably be more of a horror show than any of Davis' or Crawford's 1960's gothic films.
