Fav Brando Roles?

Just took this from the General Discussion thread. Have at it, folks !

On the Waterfront, followed closely by The Godfather.

Brando is a stud ! His filmography is stellar.

On the Waterfront and Guys and Dolls

Lat Tango in Paris
The Godfather
On the Waterfront
Streetcar named Desire

I know they are the most obvious but these are the four roles that many see him as the greatest. I think there have been better actors with overall careers who did it on a more regular basis but Brando for a short while changed the landscape of acting.

Streetcar Named Desire. I've seen this film six or seven times.

On the Waterfront and the Godfather were my favorites!

The Godfather -- what a comeback! ("Tattaglia's a pimp!")

On the Waterfront -- ("I could have been contender, instead of a bum which is what I am, let's face it.")

Bedtime Story -- (Hey, he's playing the STEVE MARTIN role from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Mr. Comedy.)

The Missouri Breaks -- (Weirdly, he takes the movie away from the Great Nicholson by doing an easy Irish accent that any of us could do...but its entertaining to watch him say his lines with veiled contempt for them and Nicholson practically disappears when Brando is on screen. That's an achievement..)
