Please explain, who was that ball? D3 I suspect, but how could they contain Legion in it if he got all his powers back (which is enough to bend the Universe if not destroy it).

I believe that was from the Sentinels. I saw a You Tube video about them. They're robots created by one of the two sides
(D3 or mutants, I can't remember which) to combat the other side. Then the sentinels decided they were superior to both groups and attacked, or something.
