A lot more 'gay' than I thought it would be (spoiler)

I had vaguely heard this was a 'beautiful' coming of age story with just a brief moment when the young fella has a canoodle with a chum. I had thought that would just be a minute or so of the movie, an act of a guy growing up.

Having just watched it the whole last 30+ mins is basically him and the other fella meeting up again and him realising he has feelings for the other fella and getting closer, and closer, etc. So drawn out where you could see where it was headed when they got back in contact.

If anything it would have been interesting to see how they would continue their lives after this slow burn reveal, potentially coping as a couple, etc

Pretty boring to be honest, started so well.
