Son of The Mask done right?

Seeing that this is a movie about a baby outwitting the protagonist, I would say so. It feels like recently we've been getting films that end up being decently made films designed as remakes of films that failed.

I'm not familiar with 'Son of the Mask', but the idea of something, such as a child, a baby, or a pet, acting or speaking like a human adult, isn't new. This story is based on the children's book, Boss Baby by Marla Frazee. The little I've read from the director of the movie is that the story will deal, in part, with that common feeling a child has when a younger sibling comes into the family and takes over.
