Go! Go!

So, anyone looking forward to this? No doubt this will appeal to fans of the franchise the most, but it's certainly been attracting some attention. Perhaps it might be terrible like some say and it might flop, however, I think it looks entertaining and somewhat interesting.

reply

Well as long as the Pink Ranger is as attractive as ever, can't hurt to try. :)

I'm here for it. There's always a chance that something like this will be terrible because it's treated as a cash grab, with the story and choice of actors given little to no effort, but I'm hoping this film surprises everyone and is half-decent, which is all anyone can hope for from films these days.

reply

I hope so. I was a big fan of the original mighty morphing power rangers and I always wanted another film.

reply

I was also a big fan and wanted another film - but I also don't have any illusions about how campy and cheesy it was either, so I can't be mad at this film if it captures some of that campy, cheesy MMPR magic.

Aren't those the reasons we loved it in the first place? If it does I say great

reply

I agree. As much of a soft spot as I have for the original series though, I think I can say with certainty that a half-decent movie will be enough of an improvement over Mighty Morphin.

In any event, the movie has been well promoted so I hope it does well financially and perhaps critically.
