Dumb question, sorry :(

I normally hate found footage films. There were a few i was excited about that i just had to titn off. That michael b. Jordan superhero one, rhe neighbor with Caan, that one woth the hurricane, Cloverfield. Should i not bothet with the visit? I ask because sometimes among a genre that i hate i will find a gem thay i really conbect with.

I would give it a go. I really enjoyed it and the found footage aspect works really well with the script. No shaky cam and there are two cameras, which is better imo.

Read 6 or 8 other discussions here on this board first, then decide if you ant to invest your time. The "found footage" angle is insignificant compared to other concerns.

The found footage aspect is actually handled better than most. But the film overall is just good, not great. Not sure this one will convert any skeptics of the genre.
