Would be is the chicken was the choosen one.🐓

Seriously, it would be such a mind *beep*.
Moana thinking that she is on a mission to save her island, but actually she is the sidekick, helping a litle guy who can't fly make it across the ocean. Because other than comic relief, what the hell was he there for? Making him the hero of the story would have made M Night Shamalan *beep* his pants and Disney finally taking a step away from all the pincess buissness. It would have made for a much greater film.

Yes! That would have been awesome and it would have given room for some character development for Moana. She'll get emotional at first when she realises she wasn't chosen but eventually she won't care because she still helped to save her island.

Exactly, it would show that anyone could be a hero and the strength is is what we do and how we help eachother.

It would be great if the chicken was actually one of the gods in disguise, pretending to be a stupid bird to be able to observe her. And after finding her worthy, she would be given a magical artifact as well.

Either way, it was great to see a different kind of animal sidekick for a change.
