What does koala say in Japanese?

My kids are dying to know what the koala said to those cute japanese doggies in Japanese that got them so offended? :)

Someone on reddit said: "From what I can remember from my rusty japanese, he basically said they all smelled like *beep*" Which would explain why he got slapped.

Also, just so you know, they were Red Pandas, which are actually from China (and Nepal)!

i thought they were foxes. a very important animal in Japanese folklore.

obviously i could be mistaken and reading too much into it based on my knowledge.

they didn't seem to make too many connections as the only other animal that was 'on the nose' were the Russians.

I also think they were foxes, which is why they were singing J-Pop songs.
I would have appreciated more screen time for them.

Actually, they're red pandas.

Thanks a lot, folks :) Be it foxes or red pandas - they were veeeery cute :)

They seem more like Tanuki to me, which makes more sense since they were speaking japanese.

Nobody uses the term "lesser panda" anymore?
