What are the chances that the receptionist's eyeball would hit the zero key twice and miraculously spell out "$100,000" in the document to be printed? It might be possible if the cursor had been between the "1" and the ",", but how many people write $1000 as "$1,000"?

Haha, I think that's far from the films biggest problems. You're right though, the chances are slim, but they need some kind of accident to get the plot moving. If it wasn't that, it'd just be another silly way of doing it.
