I REALLY didn't care for that new Justice League trailer

Wow...that was BAD. Let me just list all the things I hated:

-DARK. Everything is DARK. This is a superhero teamup movie and what do they do? Keep everything in that de-saturated color scale with dark images. Every scene is either at night, under a cloudy/overcast sky or in some dark building or corridor. Jesus...if you're going to "lighten" things up with these bad attempts at "humor" then at least lighten up the SCENES as well!

-"Humor" is still bad. Not funny and trying too hard.

-Really? "Come Together" is your trailer song of choice? Not only is it out of place, it's CORNY! Ewwww.... 😷

-Is there a reason why they're holding back on ANYTHING regarding Superman? It's not as if his revival isn't 1000% obvious at this point...

-Is it just me or is this film simply not looking...epic? It really isn't. The Avengers trailers felt like an EVENT. You knew this was going to be something huge. With Justice League...maybe it's just me, but the trailer looks terribly standard. Nothing special and nothing epic or "out of this world" in scope...I'm just not seeing it.

We like it in the darkness, cavedwellers that we are...

Indeed, Cat. :D

I didn't like how similar it looked to batmanvsuperman. And then contrasting that with the goofy tone of the dialogue is pretty jarring. Hopefully there won't be as much green screen

Aquaman looked bad ass. I'm pretty basic and I am looking forward to JL and the Alien movie this year

I will go see this movie. But I have very little hope it will be better than A C- effort.

- they learn form their mistakes. They showed us Doom in a trailer, which was a gigantic mistake for BvS, and so I gather they have learned from this. Naturally it seem a bit far as we all know he will join.... buut we are not entirely sure how and in what way. There are even speculations he will be dark etc... so for all this mystery, it is the lesson learned. Mystery is good. Keep the audience hungry. Keep him out of the trailers. A side note: I am pretty sure though that we will seem him still in a trailer in some form (and perhaps we already did?)... I guess, we have to wait and see. That they keep a lid on it is the right way though...

- first off, I am a massive Superman fan and I really like the spin Snyder is taking. Second off, I am actually agreeing with your OP here. I feel more excited by the HULK/THOR trailer, and I shouldn't. This one is too dark, even imo. However, I can see it will be epic once it begins.... it is after all the whole world that is in danger, and we are yet to see if those heroes can come together and ensure justice (without Superman, near impossible and so perhaps another reason for keeping us doubting his return). Anyway, I have hopes. But its darkness turns me off too.
