Watching their Stand Up on Comedy Central right now ...wow..

.. this is just painful.. so so painful to watch.

I love Impractical jokers.. its literally the only thing I watch. i'll watch reruns even though i've seen them a ton of times before.. the guys make me laugh so much..

but this stand up routine of theirs? its awful... unlike the show where it mostly comes off natural and off the cuff their stand up routine comes off so force, so (badly) scripted and unnatural.. and most of the time painfully unfunny.

I get what they are trying to do... impractical jokers is a funny show so they are trying to take the next natural step up to stand up comedy.. but these guys aren't stand up comedians and it shows..

it kind of hurts me watching these guys I love on impractical jokers doing this really bad stand up routine..

has anyone seen their stand up? what do you all reckon?

They were a comedy group before they got their TV show. But yeah.

I thought Sal's "I Have Your Pants" stand-up routine was significantly less funny than the WhatSayYou podcast. Their stand-up probably wouldn't be on TV if they didn't already have recognition with IJ. The talent is there though as they're obviously hilarious guys, their performances are just amateur in skill. I imagine it's just another avenue for them to explore in comedy
