7.1? 7.1??? Great movie!

How comes this wonderful movie only receives 7.1, when e.g. that abomination called "Gravity" is at 8.0?

I just don't get it. 116 minutes which felt as 30 minutes. Wonderful movie, technically / scientifically with some pretty nice moments, great acting, and original plot. Oh, and no endless moralizing about the decision he made.

Graphically also a feast for the eyes: the ship is magnificent, and the intro sequence is just gorgeous!

Hole plots? WTH, OF COURSE they will be hole plots! A movie about space travel without plot holes would be just 116 minutes of nothing happening, then, in the end, the ship silently collapses because one meteor breached its' hull. The end.

If you want to complain about plot holes, why not jump over to Gravity or Interstellar?

Gravity is vastly superior to this in every possible way. Sorry

Oh come on. Gravity is dead wrong on just about EVERYTHING considering space travel and the story is practically non-existent. The only nice thing about Gravity is the visuals, but that's not enough for me.

You liked this movie? You must be a studio shill!

Both movies handle the effects of space travel well. What is unique about this film is how well it handled the idea of deep space travel. Pretty much follows what every great sci fi writer has been postulating for decades and puts it on screen

Visually I think Gravity comes through a bit better but this film I think has the better conflict.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the film here- https://youtu.be/LE_aVVuNqnE
