someone got paid thousands of dollars to write that garbage.
it is NOT "just a little silly movie" it is a hundred million dollar blockbuster movie meant to start a franchise. (meant to inspire women to become scientists)
so, no, it is not a little movie.
I mean, considering a ghost shouldn't feel anything because they don't have anatomy down there, I'm not too sure how shooting in that spot can weaken it.
Of course you can't and you can't really damage ghosts in a physical sense (only basically suck away their Energy to make it easier to get them into the trap) anyway, hence why the Ghostbusters don't shoot and kill Ghosts but have to catch and trap them. I mean that's already established in the first movie and further pointed out in The Real Ghostbusters.
But that lore got kicked out of the window by Feigbusters for all kinds of non-funny *beep* only inbred morons (he stated so himself) like ruiner420 can enjoy. share

The original crew blasts Pufty in the neck which sets him on fire, to where he climbs the damn building in order to get them. While still on fire. Pretty badass scene.
In the new one they just stand there and blast Discount Stay-Puft in the dick. I suppose some people find that kind of thing funny, but I sure don't.
