shareMy thoughts- If you think the original was a snoozefest, I'm not sure what kind of expectations you have in life. The sequel? Yeah, that was pretty bad. Rings was so-so.

shareThe first RING was pretty good, but paled in comparison to its Japanese counter-part.
The second RING, yeah snoozefest.
This new RINGS, a little better than the second RING but still a crushing bore.
a lot of people (including myself) prefer the american version than the jap. It had a better atmosphere and cinematography than the original jap version. Gore Verbinksi is a visionary director.

shareI thought the first Ring was a really good and genuinely creepy film. And i never really think that about any post 2000 and on "suspense" movie.
Im going to give this one a go. Trailer doesnt look good, and i know i wont like it like the ring.
But i am going to see if it is better than the second Ring.

the original Ring was pretty great as far as horror movies go...if you found it a snoozefest, then I don't even know if any movie can live up to your sky high expectations lol
shareRing 1 was pretty good, and the special feature "documentary" on the Ring 2 DVD was better than Ring 2. I recommend that.
